Unlike regular stirrup straps that only sit under the sole, BootHug attaches around the boot. This helps it stay securely in place, even on smooth soles, barefoot-style shoes and during active movement.

The durable sole part is made from genuine leather and sits under the boot, where it can handle everyday wear. The front elastic is adjustable with a cord stopper, so you can fit it to the height and shape of the boot.

On both sides, BootHug has three elastic buttonhole positions. This lets you choose the best fit depending on the boot shape, trouser fit and child’s size. Adjust it once, then use it again and again without constant fixing.

If the trousers do not have buttons, no problem — buttons are included in the package. A spare cord stopper is also included.

BootHug is made from strong elastic and genuine leather. Over 50% of the leather comes from production offcuts from a local footwear factory, giving durable material a new purpose. Each pair is sewn locally in small batches.

Size guide

Choose the size by measuring the boot sole.

Measure the width of the boot sole across the middle — where BootHug will sit.

• Toddler BootHugs: 4.5–7 cm
• Kids BootHugs: 7.5–10 cm
• Adult BootHugs: 10.5–14 cm

Because BootHug is adjustable, it fits different boot widths, heights and shapes within the selected size range.

Care and important info

BootHugs can be hand washed or machine washed up to 40°C. Use a gentle cycle and a laundry bag when machine washing.

The genuine leather sole part may stretch slightly when wet or with use. This is normal for natural leather.

As BootHug sits around the boot and under the sole, check delicate footwear materials during use to make sure rubbing does not affect the surface.
