Around the boot. Not just under it.
Regular foot loops and under-sole straps can slip off barefoot shoes because there is no raised heel to hold them in place. BootHug fastens around the shoe from both sides, helping keep the straps in place and pant legs down as you move.
Use BootHug with rain pants or snow pants to help keep rain, snow and cold from getting in when pant legs ride up.
Choose your size
Adult is the largest BootHug size, for outer sole widths of 10.5–14.5 cm. For a narrower sole, compare the Kids and Toddler sizes below.
Measure the width across the middle of the outer sole, where BootHug will sit. Use the sole measurement to choose your size.

Compare sizes: Toddler 4.5–7 cm · Kids 7.5–10 cm · Adult 10.5–14.5 cm
The buttonholes adjust the strap length, while the upper elastic strap adjusts around the shoe. This lets you fit BootHug to different footwear shapes and heights within the selected size range.
Attach. Adjust. Go outside.
- Attach: Attach BootHug to the buttons on your pant legs. No buttons? We’ve included them — just sew them onto your trousers before attaching BootHug.
- Adjust: Choose the buttonhole position that fits your trousers and footwear. If the upper elastic is loose, fit the included stoppers and cord locks, then tighten it until it sits snug around the shoe.
- Go outside: Pant legs stay down while you move.
